Personal Colour Analysis

Colour should reveal you — not overpower you.

Personal Colour Analysis

A personalised study of colour, contrast and visual response that goes far beyond simply finding a seasonal palette.

More Than Finding a Season

Personal Colour Analysis is not simply about receiving the name of a seasonal palette. YOUR COLOURS® studies the visual response created by colour and translates that information into practical decisions for clothing, makeup, hair, accessories, metals, eyewear, prints and combinations.

My Approach to Colour

I work with an expanded seasonal framework, but the palette is a technical foundation — never a restriction. We observe the characteristics that determine how colour behaves on you: temperature, depth, intensity, clarity or softness, and contrast.

Colour is also perception. Lighting, surrounding colours, fabric texture, makeup, hair and the amount of colour close to the face all influence the final visual effect. For that reason, the objective is not to memorise a list of permitted colours. It is to understand how colour works.

What We Analyse

  • Temperature and undertone direction
  • Depth and lightness
  • Intensity, clarity and softness
  • Natural contrast
  • Relationship between skin, eyes and hair
  • Facial response to colour
  • Colour combinations
  • Print scale and contrast
  • Metals and jewellery
  • Makeup colours
  • Hair colour direction
  • Eyewear colours

Your Personal Colour Directions

The analysis can be translated into four practical colour groups:

  • Your Natural Colours — colours that connect naturally with your physical colouring.
  • Your Essence Colours — colours that support the qualities and communication you want to reinforce.
  • Your Style Colours — colours interpreted through your personal style language.
  • Your Choice Colours — colours you choose intentionally, including shades outside your most naturally harmonious range.

Beyond the Palette

Knowing your palette is useful. Knowing how to use colour is more valuable. We explore combinations, contrast, placement and intentional exceptions so that colour becomes a tool rather than a rule.
